Get to know Dermatologist Dr. Janiene D. Luke, who serves patients in Loma Linda, California.

Dr. Luke is a skillful and trained dermatologist whose clinical interests include skin issues, cosmetic dermatology, medical dermatology, and skin of color. She works within the Dermatology Clinic at Loma Linda University Health in California, performing procedures such as cosmetic laser treatments, cosmetics, cryotherapy, excisions, skin biopsy, and skin cancer excision.

Alongside her clinical role, she serves as an Associate Professor of Dermatology / Residency Program Director of the Department of Dermatology at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and the Skin of Color Society.

After earning her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2007, Dr. Luke went on to complete her internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. This was followed by a residency in dermatology at St. Luke – Roosevelt Hospital Center.

The doctor is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, which is a voluntary, non-profit, private, autonomous organization formed for the primary purpose of protecting the public interest by establishing and maintaining high standards of training, education, and qualifications of physicians rendering care in dermatology.

A dermatologist is a specialist doctor who manages skin diseases and deals with both internal and external causes and some cosmetic concerns involving the skin.
