Get to know Pain Management Specialist Dr. Usama Ghazi, who serves patients in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

A specialist in pain management, Dr. Ghazi works at Colorado Rehabilitation & Occupational Medicine in Greenwood Village, Colorado. He can also be found on staff at Mile High SurgiCenter.

The primary focus of his outpatient practice is the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with musculoskeletal and neurologic, pelvic, and sexual disorders. Dr. Ghazi is pioneering shockwave therapy for female pelvic pain, female/male sexual dysfunction and also specializes in peripheral nerve injuries and diagnostic ultrasound imaging. He performs interventional injections under fluoroscopic guidance in the lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine. 

A graduate of Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Ghazi completed fellowship training in pain management and obtained Level II Full Accreditation from the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation.

Double board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and pain management, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR). The ABPMR was established in 1947 as the certifying body for the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation under the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Over the past decade, Dr. Ghazi has contributed to medical education as an adjunct medical professor at multiple medical schools, including his recent role as a clinical instructor at the Stanford University Interventional Spine Center.
