Among her various roles, she serves as an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University, an Assistant Attending Psychiatrist at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is also the Co-Director of the Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research, which is a part of the Department of Psychiatry of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
The doctor’s acclaimed career in medicine began in 1993 after she earned her medical degree from the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University. Years later, in 1998, she completed her residency in psychiatry at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Before long, she became board-certified in both psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to promoting high quality patient care for the public through the initial and continuing certification of psychiatrists and neurologists.
