Get to know Dentist Dr. Ewa Marcinkiewicz-O’Brien,  who serves patients in New Jersey.

Dr. Marcinkiewicz-O’Brien is an experienced dental professional with expertise in all aspects of general dentistry. She is highly skilled in complex restorations, composite and amalgam fillings, crowns and bridges, removable prosthetics, dental prophylaxis, periodontics, extractions, and root canals.

Currently, she can be found on staff at Unique Family Dentistry, a family dentist practice that treats patients of all ages. 

With offices in Linden and Elizabeth, New Jersey, Unique Family Dentistry is committed to delivering the highest quality dental care and does so using advanced dental equipment. They are a cosmetic dentist that offers services like checkups, teeth cleaning, crowns, veneers and more. They also perform emergency dentist services that include bonding, root canals, crowns, and bridges. As a local dentist, they create lifelong relationships with patients and their families and work to ensure that they receive treatments in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

In addition to seeing patients at Unique Family Dentistry, she has been affiliated with Shelton Dental, P.A. since 2015.

A Polish native, Dr. Marcinkiewicz-O’Brien graduated from the Medical Academy of Warsaw – Division of Dentistry with a degree equivalent to a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in the United States. Upon graduation, she continued to work at the Medical Academy of Warsaw – Division of Dentistry as an Instructor for more than 5 years. After relocating to the United States, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.

On a more personal note, Dr. Marcinkiewicz-O’Brien is fluent in English, Polish, French, Spanish, Persian, and Indian.
