Get to know Dentist Dr. Chi Do, who serves patients in Lorton, Virginia.

With a great chair side manner and gentle hands, Dr. Do tends to patients’ dental needs at Lorton Valley Dental in Lorton, Virginia. She offers a variety of services such as children’s dentistry (ages 4 and up), cosmetic dentistry (whitening, veneers), dentistry for seniors, endodontic treatment (root canal), simple extraction, Invisalign® orthodontics, periodontal care (gum disease treatment), preventive care (teeth cleaning and oral cancer screening), as well as restorative and majors (fillings, crowns and bridges).

Back in 1991, Dr. Do came to the United States. She graduated from George Mason University in 1998 and then attended Howard University College of Dentistry, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2004. 

Having been practicing general/family dentistry in Northern Virginia since 2004, she is a member of the WHA organization and the Vietnamese medical and dental society. She has also provided dental services for those in need through the dental society yearly at Northern community colleges, and has gone on mission trips to different areas like Vietnam to provide oral healthcare to the less fortunate.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists diagnose and treat dental issues and help patients develop better oral hygiene regimens. They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.  

On a more personal note, Dr. Do loves traveling and spending time with her family, especially her beautiful daughter.
