He completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Colorado in Denver, followed by a fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He also performed a fellowship in pain management within the Department of Anesthesiology at Ohio State Pain Control Center.
Dr. McDowell II’s illustrious career includes serving as the former Medical Director of Grant Pain Management Center and the former Director of Pain Services for Grant Medical Center, Ohio Health. His professional achievements extend to various faculty appointments and consulting roles, where he has contributed significantly to the advancement of pain management practices.
