Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Ralph L. Bentley, who serves the population of North Carolina. Dr. Bentley graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After obtaining his Medical Degree he completed his pediatrics residency with Duke University. Dr. Bentley is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He has received awards from the NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home and the Bridges to Excellence: Physician Office Systems Recognition Program for his excellent work and care. He currently practices as a Pediatrician with Statesville Family Medicine and is affiliated with Davis Regional Medical Center and Iredell Memorial Hospital. Pediatrics is the branch of medicine dealing with the health and medical care of infants, children, and adolescents from birth up to the age of 18. A pediatrician is a children’s physician who provides medical care to children who are acutely or chronically ill, as well as preventive health services to healthy children. They manage the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the children under their care at every stage of development, in both sickness and health.
