Get to know Family Physician Dr. Robin M. Moore, who serves patients in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Moore is an osteopathic family physician providing disease prevention, diagnosis, and treatment strategies to patients and their entire families through all of life’s stages, from infancy to end of life. She believes that the body, when properly treated and maintained, is capable of self-healing.

Dr. Moore currently practices with Elite Family Health & Wellness Center. At Elite Family Health and Wellness, they offer a comprehensive list of services including general family medicine, wellness and prevention, women’s health and gynecology, pediatric medicine/well-child exams, adolescent medicine, annual exams, treatment for minor injuries, and immunizations/injections.

Combining knowledge with modern medicine and research, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ABOFP). The ABOFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.

Dr. Moore grew up in St. Louis and completed her undergraduate studies at the Xavier University of Louisiana. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999 and did her training in family practice at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center.

Dedicated to delivering excellent care to her patients, she remains a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the National Medical Association, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. 

Among her professional recognitions, she is the recipient of several awards and honors, including a 2020 Top Doctor Award for Top Family Practitioner and inclusion in Houstonia Magazine’s 2019 Top Doctors by her peers.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility. 

When away from her practice, Dr. Moore enjoys family gatherings, reading novels, shopping, and traveling.
