Get to know Podiatrist Dr. Jose C. Rodriguez Portela, who serves patients in Puerto Rico.

A surgically trained podiatrist with over 18 years of solo practice experience, Dr. Rodriguez-Portela practices at Caribbean Foot Clinic in Vega Alta, and at Hospital Wilma N. Vazquez in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico.

The team at Caribbean Foot Clinic believes that all patients deserve the highest quality medical care. This quality must include thorough communication between the physician and the patient, a caring and compassionate environment, and current, state-of-the-art treatments. Regarding his educational background, Dr. Rodriguez-Portela earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in 2000. He then went on to pursue a two-year comprehensive podiatric medicine and suergical residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, completing his training in 2002.
