Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Czarina Helf, who serves patients in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Dr. Helf is a trusted obstetrician-gynecologist and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). She is affiliated with Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Milwaukee – Prospect Medical Commons.

In Southeast Wisconsin, Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Milwaukee at Prospect Medical Commons offers a wide range of health care for all ages. In the early days of her academic career, Dr. Helf earned her medical degree from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago in 1994. She then completed both her internship and residency at Rush University Medical Center.

Licensed to practice medicine in Wisconsin and Illinois, she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics and gynecology. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.
