Dr. Fein is an exceptional hematologist with a deep-seated passion for helping people with blood disorders and blood cancers.

After dedicating himself to hospital-based hematology for 15 years, he created Heme Onc Call  to make hematology care easier and better for patients who prefer to receive specialty care from the comfort and convenience of their home. Heme Onc Call is the first and only telemedicine-based hematology practice in the United States. They provide expert hematology advice and management via telemedicine for blood disorders and blood cancers. Dr. Fein’s primary focus has been on Women’s Health Hematology. Heme Onc Call welcomes women who have anemia due to heavy menstrual bleeding, weight loss (gastric bypass) surgery, and pregnant women. Heme Onc Call’s primary mission is to identify and treat all women who need iron infusions. They have championed the mission of testing all pregnant women for low iron at 26 weeks. The practice has dedicated iron infusion centers throughout Florida, where women can receive iron infusions safely and comfortably.

A graduate of the University of Miami, Dr. Fein received his medical degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1996, and obtained his Master of Public Health degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in 1999. Hematology is the branch of medicine concerned with treatment and prevention of diseases related to blood, including clotting, bleeding, anemia, iron deficiency, and less common blood disorders.

On a more personal note, Dr. Fein enjoys spending time with his family. He married his high school sweetheart more than 25 years ago. Together, they raise three happy, healthy children.
