Dr. Kittusamy is a board-certified cardiologist and phlebologist serving the Las Vegas area for more than 20 years.
He is the Founder of Las Vegas Cardiology in Las Vegas, Nevada. Offering non-invasive testing modalities and invasive procedures, Las Vegas Cardiology is unique in its commitment to private, patient-oriented care. The practice’s ability to offer the full array of diagnostic imaging in a private setting, along with personal attention to patients, sets it apart from other providers.
Specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of venous origin, Dr. Kittusamy is affiliated with Las Vegas Vein Clinic. There, he provides hands-on care to treat common issues such as varicose veins.
Prior to his current endeavors, he was with Cardiology Associates of Southeastern Pennsylvania from November of 2003 until June of 2004. In July of 2004, he moved to Las Vegas to join Nevada Heart & Vascular Center where he remained until starting Las Vegas Cardiology in February of 2009.
After earning his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in 1996, Dr. Kittusamy went on to complete his postgraduate training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, followed by his residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut in Farmington, Connecticut. He then completed his fellowship in cardiology at MCP Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2002, followed by his fellowship in interventional cardiology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 2003.
In addition to being a member of the American College of Cardiology, the doctor is board-certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
