Get to know Podiatrist Dr. Rick Delmonte, who serves patients in New York, New York. 

Expert podiatrist Dr. Delmonte is currently serving New York and the surrounding communities. He is affiliated with NYU Langone Health – one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers. Their trifold mission to serve, teach, and discover is achieved daily through an integrated academic culture devoted to excellence in patient care, education, and research. Dr. Delmonte completed a residency at The Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburg in podiatric surgery in 1998. 

Dr. Delmonte is board certified in foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). The ABFAS  strives to protect and improve the health and welfare of the public by advancing the art and science of foot and ankle surgery. 

Podiatry is a branch of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis, and medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity. As a podiatrist, Dr. Delmonte diagnoses and treats conditions of the feet. The feet are key body parts that give a person stability, absorb shock, allow for walking and standing and are necessary for overall well-being. So, the feet need expert care. 

With over 20 years of experience in the field, Dr. Delmonte has treated thousands of patients. He has been published several times, including additions to the Textbook of Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management in 2007 and the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery in 1999.
