With a special interest in minimally invasive spinal surgery and disc replacement surgery, Dr. Pradhan strives to help his patients increase their overall health. His hospital affiliations include Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital, where he serves as Chief of Surgery, and Ascension St. Vincent’s Southside Hospital.

Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Pradhan earned his medical degree from the Duke University School of Medicine in 2000. He then went on to perform his internship and residency in neurological surgery at Duke University Medical Center in 2001 and 2006, respectively. 

Subsequent to his education, the doctor attained board certification in neurological surgery through the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS). The broad aim of the ABNS is to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards and advance the science of neurological surgery and thereby serve the cause of public health.

Maintaining fellowship status, Dr. Pradhan is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS).

Neurology is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the nervous system. Neurosurgeons diagnose, assess, and perform surgery to treat disorders of the nervous system. They operate on the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord) and the peripheral nervous system which can involve any area of the body.
