Known to her Patients as Dr. Banou, or simply Dr. B. Dr. Banou has more than three decades of experience in her field. She established Washington Spine & Disc in 1993,  a beautiful state-of-the-art Chiropractic facility in Washington, D.C. to address her patient’s healthcare needs.

Countless patients have received relief from her innovative non-invasive treatments. She is a pioneer in the field of class IV therapeutic deep tissue lasers and its conjunction with disc decompression.

Upon completing her undergraduate studies at Texas Southern University, Dr. Beiraghdar went on to obtain her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1983. She is a former college instructor who continues to utilize the proven treatment protocols she taught her students for years.  

Chiropractic is a form of alternative healthcare modality that primarily deals with the diagnosis and treatment of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, with emphasis on the spine.
