Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Candance Leaphart St. Cloud, who serves patients in Henderson, Nevada.

Dr. Leaphart St. Cloud is a caring provider who brings over a dozen years of experience and state-of-the-art patient care in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.  

Recognizing a need for more personalized care in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, she founded Allcare for Women in 2017. She believes in collaborative, comprehensive care for women’s health, obstetric care for normal and high-risk pregnancy, and offers unique protocols such as minimally invasive gynecology, otherwise known as laparoscopic gynecological surgery. Dr. Leaphart St. Cloud specializes in the care of the female reproductive tract, menstrual disorders, menopause management, sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing, and contraceptive management. In addition to providing extensive OB/GYN services, she offers a variety of aesthetic solutions for both men and women including anti-aging care, skin tightening and minimally invasive body contouring.

Academically, Dr. Leaphart St. Cloud graduated with her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in 2002. She then served her residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois and worked at the University of Illinois and Swedish American Hospital, before moving to Henderson, Nevada and calling it home in 2015. 

A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.   

Passionate about her practice, Dr. Leaphart St. Cloud cares deeply for her patients. Her approach is simple: patients first. Listen, learn, and understand what brought the patient in and how to best serve them. 

In Nevada, she is affiliated with Dignity Health – St. Rose Dominican Hospital, Siena Campus and Valley Health System, Henderson Hospital campus. 

Obstetrics and Gynecology is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics and gynecology. An obstetrician-gynecologist, or OB-GYN, is a healthcare professional who specializes in female reproductive health.
