Dr. Michael Wilderman is a Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon practicing in Northern New Jersey. Beginning his academic journey at the University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors, Dr. Wilderman earned his Medical Degree from the Perelman School of Medicine. He completed his general surgery residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, culminating his training as Administrative Chief Resident. Following this, he pursued a prestigious vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he focused on the open and endovascular treatments of complex aortic pathologies, in both the chest and the abdomen.
With dual board certifications in general and vascular surgery from the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Wilderman is recognized as a leader in his field. He has pioneered Fenestrated and Branched Aortic Stenting techniques and serves as a regional and national proctor for these advanced procedures. His clinical expertise encompasses minimally invasive endovascular treatments for ascending and aortic arch pathologies, and the management of carotid artery disease, lower extremity arterial disease, and thoracic outlet syndrome.
Dr. Wilderman’s contributions to the medical community have not gone unnoticed. He has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly every year since 2015 and was recently honored as a Top Doctor by NY Magazine for 2024.
