Dr. Tran is also affiliated with Tooth Fairy Cottage in San Jose, which she and Dr. Andrew Nguyen opened in November of 2012. Tooth Fairy Cottage focuses on pediatric dentistry, along with a large variety of other aspects of dentistry.
Dr. Tran graduated from UC Davis with her undergraduate degree, studying biochemistry. Thereafter, she was admitted to the UCLA School of Dentistry where she graduated with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2002. She achieved an outstanding award in oral pathology at the time of her graduation.
Dr. Tran has completed hundreds of hours of postgraduate training/ continuing education courses in orthodontics, implant surgeries/restorations, and oral conscious sedation for both adults and children. She has also devoted her time to becoming familiar with the latest advancements in cosmetic dentistry, including soft tissue and bone grafting techniques.
Dr. Tran is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. She is also a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the International Association of Orthodontics, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. She is often active in the meetings and symposiums dedicated by these organizations.
Dr. Tran is a certified Invisalign provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces.
