Emory Johns Creek Hospital is a 110-bed, all private room community hospital in Johns Creek, Georgia. It opened in February of 2007 and features a medical staff composed of community and Emory physicians of more than 600 doctors in 43 specialties.

Licensed to practice medicine in both Florida and Georgia, Dr. Hofstra is affiliated with Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, HCA Florida Northside Hospital, and James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital-Tampa.
His acclaimed career in medicine began after he earned his medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2013. He then went on to perform his residency in emergency medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina Medical Center in 2016.
A year later, in 2017, Dr. Hofstra attained board certification in emergency medicine through the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM). The ABEM is one of 24 medical specialty certification boards recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties. It certifies emergency physicians who meet its educational, professional, and examination standards.
Emergency medicine, also known as accident and emergency medicine, is the medical specialty concerned with the care of illnesses or injuries requiring immediate medical attention. An emergency physician works in an emergency department to care for acutely ill or injured patients on an unscheduled basis.
