Dr. Petrow is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon in practice at Tucson Orthopaedic Institute in Tucson, Arizona. Since 1994, the board-certified physicians of Tucson Orthopaedic Institute have been setting the highest standard for orthopaedic care in Southern Arizona. Their goal has been to consistently deliver world-class care and successful outcomes. Twenty-five years later, they have grown into the largest and most comprehensive, private orthopaedic practice in the Tucson area.

Performing robotic hip and knee replacements, Dr. Petrow’s goal is improving patients’ quality of life through surgery of the hip and knee. He has been offering anterior hip replacement since 2008 and performed the first robotic anterior hip replacement in Southern Arizona.

In 2000, he earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. He then went on to complete his internship and residency in orthopaedic surgery at Pinnacle Health Hospitals in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, followed by his fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia. 

Thereafter, Dr. Petrow became board-certified in orthopaedic surgery by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified doctors in Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the medical and surgical treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
