She then went on to participate in her residency at the Boston University Medical Center in internal medicine and continued her studies with fellowships in both cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Maryland. Dr. Murphy additionally participated in a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Murphy has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in cardiovascular disease and currently practices in the Toledo, Ohio region. Prior to her work in Ohio, Dr. Murphy practiced in Shreveport, Louisiana.
