Dr. Ligon, a board-certified family physician, serves as the Head Physician and Medical Director of North Alabama Family Medicine in Madison, Alabama. 

Unwavering to its commitment to help raise healthier families and communities, North Alabama Family Medicine is dedicated to serving its patients with quality medical care. Equipped with advanced medical technologies and competent medical professionals, it is able to apply comprehensive methods to the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of health and medical conditions.

Among the doctor’s professional affiliations, she can be found on staff at Crestwood Medical Center and Huntsville Hospital - both of which are located in Huntsville, Alabama. She has been a Board Member of the Infectious Disease Department at Crestwood Medical Center since 2010.

A 2004 graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in Baguio, Philippines, Dr. Ligon relocated to the United States to complete her internship and residency in family medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham - Huntsville. She was honored with the Best Resident Argus Award from 2006 to 2008 and named Best Resident at UAB Huntsville Campus from 2006 to 2008. 

A Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, she is board-certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine, a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties. She also plays an active role in the American Cancer Society and the Madison Medical County Society.
