Get to know Pulmonologist Dr. James J. Doyle III, who serves patients in Rye, New York.

An expert in the field of pulmonology, Dr. Doyle has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma. He has been affiliated with WESTMED Medical Group since May of 2001, operating out of the office in Rye, New York.

Academically, he graduated from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., and received his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and residency in internal medicine as well as a fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Dedicated to clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease. and critical care medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, Dr. Doyle is a member of the American Thoracic Society and the American College of Physicians.
