Inspired by her family dentist growing up, Dr.Wohlers has dedicated herself to providing the highest possible standard of care. To keep up with the many advances in dentistry today, she sets aside specific times throughout the year for continuing education, enabling her to continue to advance her knowledge in areas such as smile makeovers, Invisalign®, CEREC®, implant dentistry, lumineers, sleep dentistry, and much more.
Dr.Wohlers graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2010. Prior to her graduate studies, she taught physical education and coached basketball at her high school, Ravenscroft. She played collegiate basketball for four years at Francis Marion University and was named an Academic All-American in her junior year. She graduated as valedictorian in 2005 with her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry.
Dr.Wohlers continues to remain active in organized dentistry through her involvement in the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Hinman Dental Society, the Spear® Education Study Club, and the Chattahoochee Dental Study Club. She enjoys giving back to the community through dental organizations, such as Mission of Mercy clinics.
Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a general dentist, Dr.Wohlers diagnoses, treats, and manages patients’ overall oral health care needs, including gum care, root canals, fillings, crowns, veneers, bridges, and preventive education.
Dr.Wohlers and her husband, Stephen, reside in Atlanta with their three beautiful children – William, Catie, and Addyson. In her spare time, Dr.Wohlers enjoys reading, attending her neighborhood book club, running, watching movies, and spending time with her family. The family enjoy being outdoors, playing sports, and completing activities together.
