Get to know Obstetrician-Gynecologist Dr. Yousef Bishai, who serves patients in Warren, Michigan.

A caring obstetrician-gynecologist, Dr. Bishai sees patients at his private practice, Lifestages OB/GYN, located in Warren, Michigan. He specializes in women’s health, infertility, menstrual pain, hot flashes, pap smear, pregnancy, and childbirth.

An Egypt native, he started his medical education at the Ain Shams University School of Medicine, and completed his medical degree at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He then went on to pursue his internship at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center, his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center/Detroit Receiving Hospital University Health Center, and his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Detroit Medical Center – Wayne State University.

A Life Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Bishai is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The mission of the ABOG is to define specialty standards, certify obstetricians and gynecologists, and facilitate continuous learning to advance knowledge, practice, and professionalism in women’s health.

Obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN) is the medical specialty that encompasses the two subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female reproductive system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).
