Get to know Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Mohammad Al Madani, who serves the population of Ashland, Kentucky.

Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology, Dr. Al Madani currently practices with King’s Daughters Cardiology and is affiliated with King’s Daughters Medical Specialties. 

King’s Daughters’ priority is the health and well-being of the community. They owe their very existence to forward-thinking community members, to volunteers who helped shape King’s Daughters, and to the patients and families who choose them for their care. Their commitment to the community drives them to give back. Their team members, physicians, and health professionals provide free screenings, education, and participate in health fairs and other special events in order to help people and the community be healthier.

Dr. Al Madani graduated with his Medical Degree from the University of Jordan College of Medicine, in Amman, Jordon, in 2006. He then completed his internship with Salt Hospital, in Salt City, Jordan in 2007, followed by his internal medicine residency in 2008 with the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan. After relocating to the United States, he completed an additional internal medicine residency with the East Tennessee State University College of Medicine. Furthering his training, he completed his cardiology fellowship with the East Tennessee State University, followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship with the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. 

Shortly after, Dr. Al Madani completed certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine, with subspecialty certifications in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology. To stay up to date in his field, he remains a professional member of the American College of Cardiology. 

Interventional Cardiology represents advanced training in cardiovascular disease and focuses on the invasive, usually catheter-based, management of heart disease. Clinical issues usually managed by interventional cardiologists include ischemic heart disease, valve disease, and congenital heart abnormalities.
