Get to know Pediatrician Dr. Calle Tellez Gonzales-Bagdon, who serves the population of Kaneohe, Hawaii. Dr. Gonzales-Bagdon graduated with her Medical Degree from the University of Washington om 1989, giving her over three decades of experience in her field. Wanting to further her education she then attended Berkeley College and graduated with a Master’s in Public Health in 1993. After obtaining her medical degree she then completed her residency with the Baylor College of Medicine and the University of California Davis. Wanting to further her training she then completed her fellowship with the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Dr. Gonzales-Bagdon is dual certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care from the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Gonzales-Bagdon currently practices as a Pediatrician with the Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center and is affiliated with the Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, North Shore Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente Medical Center. Pediatrics is the branch of medicine dealing with the health and medical care of infants, children, and adolescents from birth up to the age of 18. A pediatrician is a children’s physician who provides medical care to children who are acutely or chronically ill, as well as preventive health services to healthy children. They manage the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of the children under their care at every stage of development, in both sickness and health.
