Dr. Lamont G. Clay, MD, FAAEM, a highly respected emergency physician with a wealth of experience, is celebrating a milestone of two decades in the medical field. Serving as the Medical Director of OhioHealth Pickerington Emergency Care Center, he exemplifies excellence and dedication in emergency medicine.

With a strong affiliation with Mid-Ohio Emergency Services (MOES), Dr. Clay plays a pivotal role in ensuring quality patient care and efficient emergency department management. MOES, a renowned Emergency Medicine staffing company based in Columbus, partners exclusively with OhioHealth to provide exceptional staffing solutions for Emergency Departments throughout the region.

Holding positions at esteemed medical facilities across Central Ohio, Dr. Clay can be found on staff at Dublin Methodist Hospital, Grant Medical Center, Riverside Methodist Hospital, and OhioHealth Emergency Care New Albany.

His journey in medicine began at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago, where he earned his Medical Degree in 2000. Following his graduation, he completed his internship and residency in emergency medicine at Boston University Medical Center Hospital in 2001 and 2004, respectively. 

In 2005, Dr. Clay achieved board certification in emergency medicine through the rigorous standards set by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, showcasing his commitment to upholding the highest professional and educational standards in the field.

Elevating his expertise further, Dr. Clay holds the esteemed title of Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine (FAAEM), recognizing his exceptional contributions and dedication to emergency medicine. His fellowship status underscores his ongoing commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in emergency care and his unwavering dedication to providing top-tier medical services to his patients.
