A native Texan, born in Austin, Dr. Baker earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1987. He then went on to complete his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the same educational venue.
In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the doctor is a member of the Willard R. Cooke Ob/Gyn Society, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Texas Association of Obstetrics and Gynecologists.
