Get to know Podiatrist Dr. Zain Rizvi, who serves patients throughout the State of Illinois.

A prominent podiatrist, Dr. Rizvi is affiliated with Advanced Foot & Ankle Centers of Illinois, seeing patients at their offices in Orland Park, Joliet, and Aurora. He is skilled in both conservative and surgical methods, ensuring that his patients receive the most effective care for their specific needs.

Growing up in Bloomingdale, Illinois and graduating from Lake Park High School, he pursued his education at Purdue University, where he graduated with honors in biology. He completed his residency at Catholic Health/Sisters of Charity Hospital, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree at Rosalind Franklin University College of Podiatric Medicine in 2015.

Board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. Rizvi is an active member of several professional associations, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management.

Throughout his education and training, he worked closely with podiatric, vascular, and orthopedic surgeons, gaining a wealth of experience in elective surgery, wound care, trauma and fractures, reconstruction, and Lapiplasty surgery. Despite his extensive surgical training, he always aims to provide conservative treatment options to his patients, unless surgery is absolutely necessary.

Podiatry is a branch of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis, and medical and surgical treatment of a variety of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity. A podiatrist, also known as a podiatric physician or a foot and ankle surgeon, is a medical professional devoted to the treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower extremity. They can treat injuries and complications from ongoing health issues like diabetes.

Aside from his professional achievements, Dr. Rizvi is a proud family man. He married his wife in 2015, and they have two little boys. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing and watching sports.
