Get to know Radiologist Dr. Stephane L. Delaunay, who serves patients throughout the State of Michigan.

Dr. Delaunay, a board-certified radiologist, practices at Radiology Consultants in Battle Creek, Michigan. In practice for over two decades, he can also be found on staff at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Michigan. 

Oaklawn Hospital is a highly regarded regional health care organization, licensed for 77 acute care beds and a 17-bed inpatient psychiatric unit. Being an independently owned not-for-profit hospital, it consists of a medical staff of more than 300 providers representing over 55 specialties. To date, Oaklawn Hospital  has proven to be a solid, thriving cornerstone of Marshall and surrounding communities. “We will provide personal, accessible, and high-quality care to improve the health and well being of the communities we serve.” as stated by their mission statement on their website. 

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Delaunay earned his medical degree from Pierre and Marie Curie University – Faculty of Medicine in Paris, France in 1994. He then relocated to the United States to complete his residency in diagnostic radiology at New York Medical College. 

With an impressive professional journey filled with numerous achievements, the doctor is board-certified in diagnostic radiology by the American Board of Radiology, which is a not-for-profit physician-led organization that oversees the certification and ongoing professional development of specialists in diagnostic radiology, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, and medical physics. 

Radiology is a medical specialty that uses medical imaging to diagnose and treat diseases within the human body. Radiologists are medical doctors who specialize in diagnosing and treating injuries and diseases using medical imaging procedures, such as exams and tests, X-rays, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, nuclear medicine, mammography, positron emission tomography, and ultrasound.
