An excellent family physician, Dr. Petry is the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Cleveland Clinic Florida, Martin Health. He joined Martin Health in November 2014 as assistant vice president and physician advisor.
As a member of the Martin Health executive team, he is responsible for the overall operations of quality management resources, case management and utilization review. He also serves as a resource to the medical staff in credentialing, reappointment, peer review, and quality/utilization monitoring.
A graduate of the Nova-Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Petry completed his internship at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and his residency in family medicine at the Memorial Health University Medical Center. He also attended the University of Miami, where he received his Master of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Administration.
As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians, which is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
Prior to joining Martin Health, he served as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for Haven Hospice, and was the hospitalist regional medical director at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, and Lawnwood Regional Trauma and Heart Center in Fort Pierce.
