Well-versed in the field of gastroenterology, Dr. Berman is in practice at Park Avenue Medical Professionals in New York. He specializes in colonoscopy and upper endoscopy.

Graduating with his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School, Dr. Berman went on to further his training by completing his residency in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology, liver transplantation, and liver disease at the University of Pittsburgh.

In pursuit of clinical excellence, the doctor is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Maintaining fellowship status, he is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), and Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology (FACG).
