Dr. Griffin is a dentist who is currently serving patients’ dental needs at Northalsted Dental Spa in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Griffin earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 1998. Dr. Griffin is a member of the Chicago Dental Society. The mission of the Chicago Dental Society is “to improve the oral health care of the communities we serve by providing a source of funding for access to care programs and dental education.”

Dr. Griffin is a certified Invisalign® provider. Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps to straighten teeth without the use of the typical metal braces.

Dentistry, also known as Dental and Oral Medicine, is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. Dentists, like Dr. Griffin, are responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, as well as promoting oral health and disease prevention. Additionally, they look for abnormalities within the mouth such as lumps, swelling or discoloration, and perform necessary diagnostic procedures to diagnose and treat these abnormalities.
