Dr. David A. Koslovsky DDS, FACS

Dr. Koslovsky is a Board-Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has a particular focus on office-based procedures including dental implant surgery, advanced bone grafting, wisdom teeth extraction, and exposures of impacted teeth for orthodontic patients. Dr. Koslovsky also performs intricate hospital-based procedures to include corrective jaw surgery, maxillofacial trauma, pathology and reconstruction, sleep apnea surgery, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) reconstruction. Dr. David A. Koslovsky was born in Miami, Florida and has lived in the Northeast since 1998. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology and Fine Art from Brandeis University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University. He completed his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he served as Chief Resident from 2009-10. After completing his training, Dr. Koslovsky returned to Columbia University as Full-Time Faculty and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery. While at Columbia, he served as Associate Program Director for the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program. Dr. David A. Koslovsky continues to be directly involved with post-doctoral resident training as well as pre-doctoral medical and dental student education. Dr. Koslovsky’s areas of research emphasis include oral pathology, maxillofacial skeletal reconstruction and TMJ surgery. Dr. Koslovsky has over twenty surgical papers and abstracts that have been accepted for national and international publication and presentation. Dr. Koslovsky lectures on a routine basis in the Tri-state area to dental and medical professionals. Dr. David A. Koslovsky holds full admitting and surgical privileges at Weill Cornell Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. David A. Koslovsky is privileged to participate in an oral health care mission to East Africa. Along with his team, Dr. Koslovsky has treated over 400 patients from the small country of Burundi.
