Dr. Satyaki Banerjee, a distinguished interventional nephrologist, is a part of the esteemed team of medical professionals at Renal Medicine Associates. With a focus on vascular access research and a commitment to excellence in patient care, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role as the Medical Director of the Access Center, serving the Albuquerque-Santa Fe Metropolitan area. 

Originally educated in India, Dr. Banerjee obtained his Medical Degree from the prestigious All India Institutes of Medical Sciences before pursuing further training in the United States. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in nephrology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in interventional nephrology at Louisiana State University.

As a board certified nephrologist and Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Banerjee is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to his patients. His commitment to ongoing education and professional development is demonstrated through his active participation in various medical organizations, including the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology, the American Society of Nephrology, the National Kidney Foundation, the International Society of Nephrology, and the Renal Physicians Association.

Beyond his work in medicine, Dr. Banerjee enjoys staying active through running, hiking, and engaging in fun activities with his daughters. His passion for wellness and his compassionate approach to patient care make him a valuable asset to the team at Renal Medicine Associates.
