About

Dr. Garza is a Rio Grande Valley native who has called Fort Worth home since his John Peter Smith days. During high school, he was quite active in sports. He has always been interested in sports and assisting others. When he wasn't practicing athletics, he was constantly working part-time in different medical clinics. This background inspired him to pursue a profession in sports medicine and interventional pain management in order to assist others in need. His training prepared him for a wide range of sports coverage. From 2010 through 2014, he served as the TCU football team's physician. He was also a ringside physician at the 2009 UFC 103 Championship event in Dallas, Texas, and was one of the leading boxing and UFC physicians in Texas for many years. The cornerstone of Dr. Garza's practice is to provide compassionate, customized treatment to each patient while also recognizing their individual circumstances. Dr. Garza's practice focuses on multimodal pain management and sports medicine. He and his staff devise a thorough treatment plan for each patient, which may include ultrasound-guided therapies, interventional procedures, and conservative treatments such as physical therapy and non-surgical options.
