Board Certified Otolaryngologist and Community Leader Dedicated to Providing Exceptional Care

Dr. Ayal Willner, MD, a distinguished otolaryngologist, is the esteemed owner of Southern California Ear, Nose, and Throat, a leading ENT practice in Southern California. Specializing in pediatric otolaryngology and head & neck surgery, he brings over three decades of expertise to his practice, serving the communities of Long Beach, Los Alamitos, and Huntington Beach.

With a strong educational background, Dr. Willner graduated from Cornell University before obtaining his Medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1988. He underwent specialized training in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at various hospitals affiliated with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Following this, he completed a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee in 1994 before joining Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Willner’s commitment to advancing ENT care is evident through his involvement in numerous advanced procedures, including sinus and skull base surgery in both children and adults. He has held significant leadership roles at Long Beach Medical Center/Miller Children’s & Women’s Hospital Long Beach and continues to contribute to the Miller’s Physician Excellence Committee.

Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Willner is deeply engaged in community service, serving on multiple boards, including Miller’s Children’s Specialty Group and Young Judaea Global, and leading medical missions globally with organizations like Mending Kids. His dedication to providing necessary care extends to local surgeries and missions in Los Angeles, ensuring that every child has access to quality healthcare.

As a board-certified otolaryngologist by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, Dr. Willner upholds the highest standards of training and professionalism. He remains at the forefront of his field as an active member of prestigious medical associations, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
