He completed additional fellowship training in liver diseases at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and advanced training in therapeutic endoscopy at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
A member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the doctor is board-certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
