Get to know Dr. Michael Hatrak, esteemed dentist who provides preventative, diagnostic, cosmetic and general dental care.

Dr. Hatrak has been treating patients since 1976 and has established long term relationships with the children, adults and families in Florence, NJ. In addition to state of the art dentistry, Dr. Hatrak helps those patients who are fearful to promote access to essential treatments. His training and experience have also enabled him to offer his patients life-changing smile makeovers.

Dr. Hatrak has extensive training beginning with a BA in Biology from Seton Hall University, a private Roman Catholic University in South Orange, New Jersey. Seton Hall is the oldest diocesan university in the country.

He received his dental degree from UMDNJ, School of Dentistry, the former health sciences institution of New Jersey. It has since merged with Rutgers University to form a new Rutgers School of Biomedical and Health Sciences. Upon completion of dental school, Dr Hatrak enlisted with the US Air Force Dental Corps, Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX; where he served as Chief Prosthetics Officer.

His well rounded post graduate training includes implant prosthetics, orthodontics, and full mouth reconstructions to ensure the highest quality care. His office is dedicated to restoring and enhancing the natural beauty of a patient’s’ smile using conservative, state-of-the-art procedures. Uncompromising safety is ensured and strict sterilization and cross contamination processes are implemented using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

The core values of Dr. Hatrak and his team are the key factors in his successful practice. He insists on not just  providing quality dental care, but creating long-lasting relationships with his patients. He attends dental lectures, meetings, and dental conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment. He is a member of both the New Jersey Dental Association which is an integral part of the dental community and the American Dental Association which assists its members in advancing the overall oral health of their patients.  

In addition to routine dental care, Dr. Hatrak offers services in preventative and cosmetic dentistry. His experience and dedication help patients achieve and maintain the very best in oral health. In addition to cleanings and prevention, Dr. Hatrak offers cosmetic services including lumineers, procera crowns, dental implants, porcelain crowns, veneers and teeth whitening. His office also diagnoses and treats periodontal disease.  

Dr. Hatrak was born and raised in Roebling, NJ.  He enjoys painting and drawing, photography, traveling and spending time with his family.

Michael J. Hatrak, DMD, attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He then entered the U.S. Air Force Dental Corps at Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo, TX, where he served as Chief Prosthetics Officer. Dr. Hatrak has completed extensive post-graduate training in orthodontics, implant prosthetics, and full month restoration. He remains at the forefront of his challenging specialty via memberships and affiliations with prestigious professional societies and associations.
