Delwin R Hemingway DDS

Delwin R. Hemingway, DDS has the expertise and experience to give his patients the level of comfort, appearance enhancement, and health they desire. He has been able to transform more than smiles; patients often leave with a remarkable boost in self-confidence. His expertise in neuromuscular dentistry offers patients relief from years of headaches and other pain associated with bite (occlusion) and jaw tension problems. Dr. Hemingway believes that listening to his patients’ desires and expectations is a critical part of providing exceptional care, and he is dedicated to serving you with unique, individualized dentistry. Dr. Hemingway received his Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University in 1975. He went on to study dentistry at Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago, graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1979. He is a member of several professional organizations and associations, including: American Dental Association California Dental Society Monterey Bay Dental Society International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics Las Vegas Institute LDS Academy of Dentists Practicing since 1979, Dr. Hemingway stays on the leading edge of modern dentistry with ongoing course studies, such as advanced training for esthetic dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. He has also completed post-graduate studies in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, dental implants, sedation, lasers, orthodontics, and endodontics. Knowing from experience that you only get what you work for, Dr. Hemingway is dedicated to the community. He has served at La Joya School Site Council for the Santa Rita School District, as an Explorer Post Advisor, and as a Boy Scout leader for Boy Scouts of America. Dr. Hemingway enjoys teaching. He teaches the Family Relations course for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Dr. Hemingway and his wife Janice are the proud parents of eight children and the grandparents of eighteen grandchildren. Each of their children are successful in their own careers, including emergency physician, dentist, lawyer, high school teacher, internet marketing director, small business owners, and property managers. He enjoys gardening, carpentry, construction, and landscape design. During the summer of 2013, he built a tree house with a 180-foot-long zip-line with three of his sons and five of his grandsons.endodontic procedures, and performing examinations, among many others.
