How often will I have to replace my braces?
Hello there, Braces have to be adjusted periodically and the frequency depends on your goal and your progress. Dr. Sandulescu is a dentist serving New York and the surrounding communities. In regards to his education, Dr. Sandulescu earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University in 1986. An institute he would later go on to teach prosthodontics at, before opening his second private practice location. Dr. Sandulescu developed a true love and passion for the field of dentistry very early on while working in his family-owned dental laboratory in New York City. He continued to work as a laboratory technician while pursuing his education in dental school and advancing his general dentistry skills to specialize in full-mouth reconstruction.
To stay up to date in his field, Dr. Sandulescu maintains active professional memberships with the American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Holistic Dental Association.
Dentistry is a branch of medicine that consists of the study, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the oral cavity. As a dentist, Dr. Sandulescu is trained to carry out such treatment as professional cleaning, restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic procedures, and performing examinations, among others.
With over 30 years of experience in the field, Dr. Sandulescu has treated thousands of patients. He has been recognized by the International Academy of Dental Esthetics as well as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry for having outstanding esthetic results in all his cosmetic treatments. Dr. Sandulescu is considered a pioneer in the craft of cosmetic dentistry and an expert in full mouth reconstruction. He was a professor of Prosthodontics at New York University and Farleigh Dickinson University for many years prior to opening his second location in Long Island.
