Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center, also known as Richmond VA Medical Center or McGuire VA Hospital, is located in Richmond, Virginia. Educated in India, Dr. George graduated with his medical degree from St. John’s Medical College in 1978. After relocating to the United States, he went on to serve his residency in internal medicine at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York in 1997.

Subsequent to his education, he attained board certification in internal medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
