Get to know Dermatologist Dr. Jeffrey A. Rapaport, who serves patients throughout the State of New Jersey.

A practicing dermatologist since 1981, countless patients have benefited from Dr. Rapaport’s talent, experience, dedication, and high standards of excellence. He is the Medical Director and Founder of the Cosmetic Skin and Surgery Center with offices throughout the state of New Jersey, including Englewood, Old Bridge, and Jersey City.

He is currently on staff at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in Englewood, as well as Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, New Jersey, where he is the Emeritus Chief. He is also a consultant at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and Raritan Bay Hospital.

Among the doctor’s professional affiliations, he is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the North American Society of Phlebology. Moreover, he is board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, which is one of the 24 medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties. 

On the subject of his academic career, Dr. Rapaport is a Phi Beta Kappa recipient from Emory University and a graduate of the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. After an internship at Emory, he completed his advanced training residency in dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University, where he served as chief resident.

Well-respected by his peers, he often presents seminars on subjects ranging from dermatology to cosmetic surgery. He is the holder of three U.S. patents for dermatologic products.
