Having been practicing dentistry for more than 15 years, he received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from University Central of Venezuela and University of Puerto (USA). Early during his training, he also completed a clinical certificate in Prosthodontics at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston.

With a commitment to continuing education, Dr. Tomei aims to continually develop his knowledge and skills in the specific areas of prosthodontics, implant surgery, and reconstructive dentistry.

Among his professional dental affiliations, he is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Greater Houston Society, the Houston Hispanic Dental Association, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
