A board-certified family physician, Dr. Nguyen has been in practice since 2001, and joined Stone Springs Family Medicine, an Inova Partner in 2020. He has a strong interest in preventive medicine and enjoys taking care of the entire family. He specializes in diabetes, thyroid disorders, and physicals.
Stone Springs Family Medicine is part of the Fairfax Family Practice Centers, which has provided quality family practice care to Northern Virginia since 1971 and more recently has partnered with Inova to deliver comprehensive, high quality, personal care to their patients throughout the region. Back in 2001, Dr. Nguyen graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in family practice at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in 2004.
As a testament of his continued education, the doctor is board-certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP). The AOBFP is an organization that provides board certification to qualified osteopathic physicians who specialize in delivering comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, genders, and addressing all parts of the body.
On a professional level, Dr. Nguyen is a proud member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. Prior to joining Stone Springs Family Medicine, he worked as the Medical Director of a CVS MinuteClinic and a family practice office in Reston, Virginia, for several years.
