She attended Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma and received a degree in Biology-Chemistry. She then moved to Texas to go to medical school at Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. She got married while in medical school, so she and her husband moved to the Lubbock area for residency. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, just before she joined the Clinic.

A pediatrician is a child’s physician who provides medical care to children who are acutely or chronically ill, as well as preventive health services to healthy children. She and her husband live in the Greenville area with their two sons and daughter. She enjoys going to the movies, riding bicycles and spending time with family. She is involved in the community and with her church.
