Get to know Family Physician Dr. Nalan Reibschied, who serves patients throughout the State of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Reibschied is a board certified family physician who, most recently, worked at Lehigh Valley Health Network from December 2022 – February 2023.

Prior to this, her diverse medical journey included roles such as an emergency physician at Envision Physician Services (September 2017-December 2022), a family physician at Shamokin Dam Family Medical Center (September 2009-April 2019), a physician at MedExpress (May 2011-December 2018), a family physician at Little Company of Mary Hospital (August 2008-August 2009), a physician at Providence Little Company Of Mary Medical Center Torrance (May 2006-August 2008), and a physician at Western Medical Group (July 2005-June 2006).

Back in 1992, Dr. Reibschied graduated with her Medical Degree from the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. Subsequently, she pursued a Master of Business Administration Degree with a focus on Health Care Executive at the University of California, Irvine – The Paul Merage School of Business, completing the program in 2001. 

Building upon her medical and business background, Dr. Reibschied underwent a residency in family medicine at the University of Southern California from 2002 to 2005.

Board certified in family medicine, she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). The ABFM is a non-profit, independent medical association of American physicians who practice in family medicine and its sub-specialties.

Family medicine is a medical specialty devoted to comprehensive health care for people of all ages. The specialist is called a family physician or family doctor. A family physician is often the first person a patient sees when seeking healthcare services. They examine and treat patients with a wide range of conditions and refer those with serious ailments to a specialist or appropriate facility.
