Dr. Sarit Itenberg is an accomplished, Board Certified medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatologist taking care of both adult and pediatric patients.
Born and raised in the picturesque region of upstate New York, Dr. Itenberg has always been passionate about Dermatology. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Boston University, where she excelled academically and graduated Magna Cum Laude. During her time at the university, she majored in Psychology and double minored in Biology and Nutrition. Driven by her desire to help others, she then enrolled in Medical School in Long Island, New York.
After graduating top of her class from Medical School, Dr. Itenberg embarked on her Residency training. Matching in Medicine and Dermatology, Dr. Itenberg began her internship year at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital, an affiliate at the time of Columbia University in New York City, and then continued her Dermatology Residency training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In her final year of residency, she served as Chief Resident, showcasing her leadership skills and dedication to the field.
Following her training, Dr. Itenberg moved to New Hampshire, where she had the opportunity to establish a dermatology department at a local hospital in Manchester., serving as the Medical Director of the Dermatology department. Folowing her time at this hospital, Dr. Itenberg joined a large private dermatology group where she has practiced until now. In March of 2024, she opened her own practice, SJI Dermatology, in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Itenberg attributes her success to the unwavering support of her parents and the excellent education she received throughout her academic journey. In addition to English, she is fluent in Russian and is also proficient in Hebrew and Spanish, enabling her to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patients.
With her extensive medical knowledge and expertise, Dr. Itenberg is dedicated to providing the highest level of care to her patients. She believes in a holistic approach to dermatology, considering not only the physical aspects but also the emotional well-being of her patients. Dr. Itenberg takes pride in staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field, ensuring that her patients receive the most innovative and effective treatments available when appropriate.
In her free time, Dr. Itenberg enjoys exploring vibrant cultures and landscapes of the World. She is an avid traveler and has a deep appreciation for diversity. After graduating top of her class, she began her internship year at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, an affiliate at the time of Columbia University in New York City, and then continued her residency in allopathic dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In her final year of residency, she served as Chief Resident, showcasing her leadership skills and dedication to the field. To stay up to date in her field she remains a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Relocating to New Hampshire, Dr. Itenberg had the opportunity to establish a dermatology department at a local hospital in Manchester, serving as its Medical Director. Following her time at the hospital, she joined a large private dermatology group where she has practiced until opening her own private practice in March 2024.
