Recognized as an experienced, triple board-certified hematologist-oncologist, Dr. Chen is in practice with Regional Cancer Care Associates. She has been treating patients in the Holmdel and Freehold communities for more than 15 years.

Throughout her academic career, Dr. Chen earned her medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine in 1998. She went on to complete her internship and residency in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Medical Center in 2001, followed by fellowships in hematology and medical oncology with the New York University School of Medicine from 2003 to 2006.
Licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey, New York, and California, she is board-certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
Professionally, Dr. Chen is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
